Ankh ehf. is the independent advisory practice of Jóhann Sveinn Sigurleifsson.

The focus is on strategic advisory, governance, complex agreements, and matters where strategy, incentives, responsibility, and execution need to be aligned.

Jóhann brings more than 15 years of experience across telecommunications, information technology, infrastructure, contracts, strategy, and governance.

He spent 13 years at Ljósleiðarinn, working closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, contracts, market development, infrastructure projects, and matters prepared for board discussion and decision.

He has also worked as a consultant, giving him experience from both within organisations and in an advisory capacity.

His experience is cross-sector and spans a wide range of projects and markets, where business, technology, legal structure, and governance intersect.

Education and credentials

Jóhann holds an Executive MBA and has also completed studies in business law. He has further undertaken board-level training and certifications supporting his work in governance and board settings.

Parts of his executive education were completed in collaboration with internationally recognised institutions, including Yale and IESE Business School in Barcelona.

The approach is defined by clarity, sound judgment, and careful preparation. The aim is to improve the quality of decisions, reduce uncertainty, and support long-term value creation.
